good gracious. That one argument prochoicers try and use is just so flawed. The whole “if a woman wants to do that to her body, who cares. it’s HER body. it doesn’t affect her.” Well if we’re gonna use that rationale, then i guess we could say “who cares what that rapist does. it’s HIS body.” Hmmmm… seems like something is missing. Ah! I got it! There are TWO people involved. So it is not just the woman who should have a say. The living infant inside of her should have a say whether he or she wants to live their life and make it out there in the world. But they can’t have a say one way or another, because they’re infants of course. But I don’t think they’d say “nah. i don’t wanna live.” So we should give them the chance. And if the woman or young girl doesn’t want the baby because she thinks it will interfere with her life too much, then whatever. wait nine months. it’s just nine months out of her life. It’s an entire life time out of the child’s. so keep that i mind. 

People choose to end their lives every day, you can’t possibly pretend to know what a fetus would choose. You don’t get to place what YOU think onto what others might eventually think. There are thousands upon thousands of people in the world who do in fact choose to not live and there are even more people who wish their parent had had an abortion. You don’t get to speak for everyone, so don’t.

Also, they can’t choose. A pregnant person can. If you insist on comparing the two, then realize that the only thing rape and unwanted pregnancy have in common is that both involve using a person’s body without their consent. A fetus has no right to use a person’s body without their consent.

And, “it’s just nine months,” have you ever known anyone who has been pregnant? Pregnancy can be extremely hard on a person’s body; it’s not something anyone should be forced into. Pregnant people DIE because of those nine months, no one gets to tell a person whether or not they have to go through that.

One last thing, it’s a fetus, not an infant. If you have to rely on emotionally manipulative words then you have no argument.

Oh and another thing, and I usually don’t speak to people this way, but FUCK YOU for comparing an abortion to rape. Words can not express just how stupid you are!

lilehpowuz: So people say “fuck you” and “you’re so stupid” to me for comparing abortion to rape. But obviously, they are not taking into consideration what I believe in. I believe that abortion is murder. So step into my shoes for a second to see where I’m coming from. What is worse? Rape, or murder? Do you see where I’m coming from people? It’s murder. I know that rape is an incredibly traumatic and horrific thing to experience, but so is killing something so innocent. So please, before you start name calling, take into consideration about how pro life people see what abortion. To you pro choicers, it’s just terminating an unwanted pregnancy compared to rape (which is an incredibly terrible thing). BUT to us pro lifers, it’s murdering a defenseless and innocent life for personal convenience to rape (still a terrible thing, but not as bad as murder).

PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION. Thank you.

Rape is just as bad as murder, but abortion is not murder. That’s the problem with pro-lifers, you don’t see the difference. Abortion is a personal choice, if you don’t like abortion, don’t get one, but don’t judge others for making a choice that is necessary for them.

I’m 24 today. Life is passing me by and I’m just surviving instead of living. I wish I could go back in time and change so many things I did wrong.i’d go to school and make real friends, and go to prom, and enjoy my childhood. I would have waited on having kids, and gone to a collage far away from here. I would have enjoyed my life.
